The Challenge

A sales support team at a large client of ours in the vision care industry has the mission of providing independent distribution partners with the tools needed to sell-through their products. This isn’t always an easy task, as sometimes these partners also sell other companies’ competing products.

This sales support team needed to create a frictionless touchpoint and encourage their distributors’ salesforce to engage in more productive sales activity and product training.

The Solution

Sales people are competitive at heart. We designed and developed a product training and sales productivity tool all rolled into one ‘gamified’ and goal-oriented app. The app was designed to reward training and sales related activities through a points system also relayed to a web based leaderboard.

Success Delivered

A key distributor involved in the program posted a 25%+ increase in sales, directly attributed to the app’s ability to more effectively keep their reps on task.
